Professor Stuart Semple
Stuart is an Emeritus Professor of Life and Health sciences, with a strong track record in grant writing and a deep understanding of the funding landscape. Since leaving academia in 2022, Stuart has worked in the innovation funding sector, securing more than £41.9 million in non dilutive funding for SMEs and academic organisations. Successful applications have covered a wide range of areas, including agricultural robotics, carbon capture, engineering biology, financial services and medical devices.
Technical lead and Senior Writer
Robin is a senior innovation and research-funding leader with more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of government, academia and industry. He specialises in the governance, design and delivery of complex public R&D investments, helping organisations translate scientific excellence into measurable economic and societal impact.
Innovation Funding Specialist Dr Robin McIntyre
We are seeking experienced bid writers with a proven track record of securing innovation funding through programmes such as Innovate UK, the European Innovation Council, and other national or international innovation funds. You should be confident translating complex technical projects into compelling, high-scoring applications and working closely with founders and technical teams to deliver winning submissions.
